


The end result of all of this is that you are doing less damage and taking more damage no matter what build you’re running, even ones that didn’t get specifically targeted. Past that, barely any underperforming uniques got buffs, yet they had time to add one new uber-unique that no one will ever get. The end result of all of this is dungeons you were clearing just fine before are either more of a slog or at times, just impossible, and you must walk back a level or five or ten. Nightmare Dungeons are still full of horrible affixes that reduce your damage or increase your damage taken dramatically on top of these new changes. It’s also about what hasn’t been changed.(This also launched with a bug that reduced cinder gain by about 70%, but that has already been hotfixed). XP gains and Helltide farming has been nerfed, making it harder to powerlevel, and making the only worthwhile Helltide Chest cost 250 cinders instead of 175.Instead what this did is break very specific timings on a lot of builds. Cooldown reduction was nerfed in order to try to make players prioritize other stats, but instead it makes players need to max cooldown as much as humanly possible, as the only way to encourage using it less would have been…reducing the cooldowns on skills themselves.Damage mitigation was reduced for a number of skills, and certain armor-based aspects were nerfed, making all players take more damage than they were before.Damage affixes like Critical Hit and Vulnerable were hit across the board, making all players do less damage than they were doing before.
